Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interesting pilot! I find this pilot interesting and good enough knowledge drop for A&P student or psychology student. Professor is good at her delivery and shared a lot of information as well in a 30-min lecture. A full course may or may not be needed in my opinion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from engaging presentation enagaging presention would have been even more beneficial if emphasis was more on action items many great tips and quotes from useful studies but I felt discussion about Alzheimer's was a stretch with less useful info let me summarize for others to save time whats good for heart is good for heart is good for brain aswell Meditarrian diet is a great food choice (Lot of veggies , fruits , nuts , , olive oil , lean mean (fish is preferred source of protein ), avoid farmed fish , prefer salmon , herring , trout , avoid read meat ) coffee in moderation is good for both heart and brain for majority of people (However for somepeople who metabolize coffee slowly its not recommended , get a test to check about d same ) dark chocolate is also good for both heart and brain do exercise (strength training (2 days a week ) + endurance training (3 days )) do more reading , solve puzzles , social engagement , have positive outlook for better brain health , with cognitive exercises mentioned studies on nuns have shown that even with signs of alzaimers from test report tell signs there was not dementia they have lived healthy and happy life

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Skip making this into a full course Contains outdated, inaccurate, and incomplete information. For example, the Mediterranean diet is only healthy *in comparison to* the standard American diet. Another example: the antioxidants in chocolate are healthy, but the sugar and fat wipe out the benefits. Don't bother with this pilot, it's the same info you can get anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Information I would really like to see an extended course with Dr. Miller. Great presenter with really good information.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very important course. This could easily be an entire Great Courses program. I would, definitely, be interested in having this expanded to a 12 to 18 hour course. The instructor is very good and the information is vital for all of us to know. For me, it is a nice review and the statistical validation of the therapies are quite compelling.
