Heather Thomas is a fiber artist, writer, instructor, and surface designer with a career spanning 30 years. She has developed and taught over 100 different classes on quilting, fabric embellishment, and surface design, and has completed more than 3,000 quilts and quilted artworks. She is the author of A Fiber Artist’s Guide to Color and Design, and the coauthor of Fabric Embellishing: The Basics and Beyond. She currently teaches online classes for nationalquilterscircle.com.
